As the president and owner of the Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation—a certified woman-owned enterprise and a family business that Pamela first joined in 1991—Pamela Kan is, to put it mildly, busy.

However, Pamela has been a member of Strategic Coach® for the last 17 years, providing her with a dedicated, growth-focused space to concentrate on growing her business. No matter how busy she may be!

“Strategic Coach allows you to build an incredible library of tools to help you grow through your business, no matter your challenges or where you are in your journey. Not to mention, it's a better deal than what I paid to be at Harvard!”

Finding Time To Work On, Not Just In, The Business

Like so many other business owners, Pamela often faces the challenge of finding time to work on the business—that is, engage in critical growth- and revenue-generating activities—rather than just in the business, where daily operations consume much of her time. Yet despite her busy schedule, Pamela always makes time for Strategic Coach. As she explains, “As much as I love Strategic Coach, there have been moments over the years when work has been so demanding that I’ve questioned whether I really had the time to attend a quarterly workshop.

“However, without fail, as soon as I’m on the flight back home, I can always see that attending the workshop was the best possible use of my time. Every session has provided me with invaluable focus time to reflect on my business’s future. As a result, I always return to my team energized and ready to move forward.”

The Best Library Of Tools To Grow, No Matter Your Stage Of Business

One thing that has kept Pamela returning to Strategic Coach over the years is the access to tools she finds “instrumental in growing [her] business.” But above all else, she appreciates how every quarterly workshop she’s attended in the last 17 years has surprised her and contributed to her growth.

In her words, “Every single Strategic Coach workshop I’ve been to has been full of surprises because you never know what you’re going to get!

“But what I love most about Strategic Coach, and what has made it so valuable to me over these last 17 years, is how it consistently highlights exactly what I should be working on in my business, even if I’m initially skeptical.

“It’s truly amazing how often the tools we work through during our workshops manage to pinpoint exactly what I should focus on and be thinking about to grow myself and grow the company at any given moment.”

A “Better Deal Than Harvard”

When asked about the financial investment to join Strategic Coach, Pamela says, “If you show up to Strategic Coach willing to be authentic, present, and embrace the tools they give you, then it’s a fabulous value for all that you get (after all, it’s definitely a better deal than what I paid to be at Harvard!).

“And although my business has nearly doubled since I first became a member, and my needs have changed, I still find myself referring again and again to the library of Strategic Coach tools that I’ve spent the last 17 years building. These tools never go stale and remain valuable because I can use them repeatedly as different scenarios arise in my business.

“At the end of the day, Strategic Coach allows you to build an incredible library of tools to help you grow through your business, no matter what challenges you’re facing or where you are in your journey.”
